CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates)
Why we like them – community based nonprofit organization whose mission is to recruit, train, and support citizen volunteers to advocate and speak for the best interests of abused and neglected children in the Child Welfare and Juvenile Court Systems. These foster children are often lost in the system. It takes special and committed people to volunteer and commit years of their lives to help others.

Why we like them – We at CORE believe that education is the foundation to a prosperous community. The Foundation @ FCOE begins where your tax dollars end, providing educational programs in areas such as music, arts and vocation. Its mission is to support the students of Fresno County with exemplary educational programs and services through a shared community responsibility.

CVCCA “Parker’s Team” (Central Valley Cycling Charitable Association)
Why we like them – Great organization of people advancing the causes of local and national charities through cycling and related activities. The team was originally formed to support Parker Fritch who has childhood Leukemia, and to help the organizations that help fight that disease. Get out, have fun and give back!

Down Syndrome Assoc. of Central California
Why we like them – Their goal is to enhance the quality of life of all people who are touched by Down syndrome. Cheryl’s family is personally touched by Downs Syndrome and this organization has provided needed support . Down syndrome is more common than you might think, one in every 691 babies is born with Down syndrome. Getting involved is easy, The Buddy Walk, golf tournament and fashion show all support the local cause.
